Use slots

Track recovery items, attack, magic, evasion and other consumables in any shortcut position. One slot per item, up to 12. Screenshot review can suggest items from their icons.

Buy supplies before starting. Cost = (starting + added − remaining) × unit cost for every tracked item. A duplicate hotkey shows the same inventory stack: track it once.

Stock up first, then start. Your session saves in this browser.

Stream overlayShare your live rates in OBS

Stream from the regular website with a small overlay window. No download or account needed; your stats stay in this browser.

Optional: direct OBS Browser Source URL

Prefer pasting a URL into OBS? The local helper connects its tracker to OBS on the same computer. This is optional; the browser pop-out above needs no installation.

Download local streaming helper Preview ↗

Unzip, install Node.js 24 LTS once if needed, then open Start-Grind-Journal.cmd on Windows (or run node local-overlay/server.cjs). Start your streaming run on the helper’s localhost page. Website and localhost history are separate; transfer history with Back up JSON and Restore JSON.

Capture guide Keep these parts of your HUD visible
MapleStory capture example with map at top left, inventory mesos at right, level and class along the bottom, EXP in the yellow bar, and HP/MP supply counts in shortcut slots.
  1. Map in the minimap header
  2. Class / job text
  3. Character level
  4. EXP percentage, including the decimal point and % sign
  5. Mesos at the bottom of inventory
  6. A shortcut quantity (choose any Use item)
  7. Other counted Use icons in all shortcut slots

Use a clear PNG at the game's original resolution. Keep the inventory open and the whole HUD visible. Shortcut cells are scanned automatically; adjust the Use shortcut scan area on this page if your HUD is elsewhere. Visible ETC stacks are detected when the ETC tab is selected and are summed by item. Off-screen stacks still need manual review.
